State of Manufacturing: The Next Decade of Global Innovation

Join MWDSI Virtual Conference on April 8 – 9, 2022 hosted by Oakland University, Rochester, MI (click here for the program flyer). Scheduled for a half day on Friday and full day on Saturday, virtual synchronous presentations on all topics relevant to business will be offered, along with symposia, tutorials and workshops.

Conference highlights include: virtual synchronous presentations, keynote and panel presentations, networking events, publishing in DSJIE and hybrid/remote teaching workshops.

We are glad to announce that, as a part of the conference program, Hakan Yildiz from Wayne State University will be hosting an editorial panel on Saturday, April 9, 2022 between 1:00 – 2:00 PM (Eastern Time) featuring:

  • Tingting Yan, Wayne State University, Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Supply Chain Management

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our host and the editors for their participation.

Besides the Stan Hardy Best Conference Paper, Best Innovative Education Paper and Best Student Paper awards, the conference will also co-host the Third Annual Gregg M Sherrill Supply Chain Management Case Competition along with the Center for Excellence in Manufacturing at the Indiana University-Kelley School of Business-IUPUI. This year’s competition will be on Saturday, April 9th. Gregg Sherrill (retired chairman of Tenneco) will be in attendance. The format will be the same as last year. Each participating school can send one team of four undergraduate students. Prize money will be provided to the top three teams ($1000, $500, $300). We still have a couple available spots for interested schools.
