Locations, Time, and Activities: The case competition will start with an engaging facility tour of the case company, which is just 15-20 minutes from our campus. The tour will start promptly at 10 am (please be on time), and the company’s name and address will be shared a couple of days ahead of the competition. This company visit and face-to-face interaction will bring the case study to life, providing students with the opportunity to meet and engage directly with the protagonists.
We will meet first directly at the case company at 9:45 am as the tour will start promptly at 10 am.
Case Study Preparation: Following the tour, students will return to the YSU campus, where they will be given the case. Teams will then proceed to designated team rooms within the college to brainstorm, develop their solutions, and prepare their presentations throughout the day. The case files will be emailed to students using the registration email addresses and also provided in physical/paper form.
Parking is included; passes will be provided upon entering the designated lot. Parking instructions will be posted soon.
A Q&A session with Drs. Alina Marculetiu and Sebastian Brockhaus will be at 3:30 pm in room 2221 (WCBA/Conference Venue). Students/teams should ask pointed questions and consider that all teams will be present at the Q&A session.
*student teams should bring a laptop to work on the case study and prepare the presentation.
